About fcwire
Football. Live. Faster.
fcwire is a multi-language football coverage site built around the 2026 FIFA World Cup and what comes after it. We track live scores, fixtures, standings, and key statistics across more than 600 leagues globally, and publish original analysis in English, Vietnamese, and Brazilian Portuguese.
What we cover
Live scores
Sub-30-second freshness across major leagues. Mini stats appear inline on the live ticker the moment a goal lands.
600+ competitions
From the Premier League and Champions League down to V.League, Saudi Pro League, and local cups across South America, Africa, and Asia.
Deep data
Every match: lineups, events, statistics, head-to-head, recent form, league context. Backed by API-Football data and our own enrichment pipeline.
Three languages
English, Vietnamese, Brazilian Portuguese — each version writes natively, not machine-translated, so the analysis reads right in your language.
Editorial principles
- No gambling content. We do not publish betting odds, tips, or any content that could be interpreted as gambling advice. Predictions on match pages are form-based statistical models, clearly labelled.
- Licensed imagery only.Team crests and player photos are sourced through API-Football's commercial licence. Article covers composite real licensed photography — no AI-generated images, ever.
- Editorial UI in three languages. Interface and on-screen copy are hand-translated into English, Vietnamese, and Portuguese (Brazil). Article body content is currently published in English only.
How we use AI
fcwire is built on a hybrid workflow: structured football data drives the prose, and a large language model (Google's Gemini Flash) handles the writing. Every published article is generated this way and labelled with an “AI-assisted” disclosure line beneath the byline.
What the AI does: rewrites our match-event log, statistics, lineups, and trend data into readable English prose at the structure we specify (lede, two H2 sections, closing paragraph). It never sees the open web at generation time, so it cannot copy from rival outlets or invent facts beyond what we pass it.
What the AI does not do: generate or manipulate photographs; produce betting tips, odds, or gambling-adjacent content; translate articles between languages without a human review pass. Source URLs for roundup posts are listed verbatim in a per-article sources footer so attribution is traceable.
Editorial controls: deterministic post-processing strips gambling vocabulary, enforces minimum word counts and SEO constraints, injects internal links to the entities a piece covers, and re-runs the audit cron every four hours. A nightly review removes anything that slipped through.
